Page 2 - Corinth
The day after we arrived, we had to get up really early in the morning for our 2-day trip to Athens via Corinth. We travelled by coach to Zakinthos town, and caught the morning ferry to the Greek mainland.
Our first stop on the trip was at Corinth, which is the point when the southern half of Greece, known as the Peleponese, joins the northern half of mainland Greece. The canal was completed in the late 1800's, and is a marvel of engineering for its day.
